En este trabajo se explican las causas del desencuentro entre el movimiento de Derechos Humanos y la Causa Malvinas; y el modo en que una organización marginal de excombatientes logró sintetizarlos. La Causa Malvinas fue utilizada para revitalizar y revindicar el gobierno militar en decadencia y para sostener los reclamos de impunidad. Para ello, se impuso una narrativa en la que se debían ocultar los testimonios de los soldados que habían participado del conflicto bélico y cualquier acontecimiento que pudiera afectar la alta consideración con la que debía contarse la guerra. El proceso de desmalvinización, las leyes de impunidad y la falta de distinción entre los excombatientes que reivindicaban la dictadura y aquellos que no compartían los reclamos de impunidad, dificultaron, aún más, la posibilidad de abordar la guerra y la Causa Malvinas por parte de aquellas organizaciones del campo nacional y popular vinculadas con la democracia, la paz y los derechos humanos. Esta división entre Malvinas y Derechos Humanos se quebró a partir de las acciones llevadas a cabo por un grupo de conscriptos que, desde un lugar marginal, y apelando a las herramientas e instituciones creadas a instancias del movimiento de derechos humanos reclamaron que se investigaran las torturas, tratos crueles, cometidos contra la propia tropa durante la guerra y la identificación de las tumbas del cementerio de Darwin. Al incluir Malvinas dentro de esta nueva perspectiva y contar las violaciones a los derechos humanos que tuvieron que atravesar los soldados y los familiares de los caídos, que habían sido maltratados, ocultados y segregados durante décadas, se suscitaron enormes transformaciones en las organizaciones de derechos humanos y de excombatientes que pudieron conjugarse y conformar un movimiento más amplio dentro del campo nacional y popular, que defiende y sostiene las políticas de memoria, verdad, justicia, soberanía, paz y democracia

In this work the causes of the failed meeting between the Human Rights Movement and the Malvinas Cause are explained; and the way in which a minor organization of veterans succeeded in synthesizing them. The Malvinas cause was used to revitalize and vindicate a decadent military government and to hold the impunity complaints. For that to happen, a narrative was imposed to hide the testimony of the soldiers who had participated in the war conflict and any event that could affect the important consideration that was needed to tell the war. The process of desmalvinización, the impunity laws and the lack of distinction amongst the veterans that vindicated the dictatorship and those who didn’t share the complaints of impunity, made the possibility to deal with the war and the Malvinas Cause even more difficult by those organizations from the national and working-class fields connected to democracy, peace, and human rights issues. This division between Malvinas and Human Rights was broken due to the actions carried out by a group of conscripts that, from a minor place, and appealing to the tools and institutions created by the human rights movement, claimed for investigation about torture, cruel treatment against the troop during the war and the identification of the graves at Darwin Cemetery. When Malvinas was included in this new perspective and telling the violation of human rights that the soldiers and the fallen’s relatives had to experience, that is, they had been mistreated, hidden, and segregated for decades, great transformations arouse in the human rights and veterans’ organizations. They could conjugate and form a bigger movement in the national and working-class fields, that protects and holds the policies of memory, truth, justice, sovereignty, peace, and democracy
